The Master List

The Error/Variety Index and Master List of attributed die varieties, by coin and date: the reference collectors use to identify and catalog what they find.

How the Master List works

Every listing describes one attributed die variety: the coin, the date and mint, the kind of error or variety, and the diagnostics that set it apart. Listings are numbered so collectors and dealers can refer to the same variety the same way.

What a listing includes

  • The coin series, date and mintmark
  • The error or variety type, such as a doubled die or repunched mintmark
  • The listing number and the attributer
  • Diagnostic notes and, where available, photographs

New varieties are added as CONECA's attributers confirm them.
